Viasat, a global leader in antenna systems, has signed an agreement with Nuevas Tenologías Inalámbricas (NTi), a leading Spanish satellite communications provider in the Defence sector, to locally manufacture Viasat Antenna Systems products in Spain, to better serve the domestic and European market. This agreement will enable domestically manufactured solutions for Viasat and NTi customers in Europe, shortening delivery times and providing supply chain certainty for critical Enterprise and Defence customers.
Mr. Rafael Ochoa Ruiz, General Manager of NTi, commented: “NTi is thrilled to continue its long, strategic partnership with Viasat. We are excited to be able to offer customers in Spain and elsewhere in Europe a domestically manufactured solution. Particularly in the Defence sector, our customers are pleased to be able to take advantage of a more locally-sourced supply chain, for both original manufacture and on-going product support.”
