The National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA) needs to update one of the four antennas of its TTC Station Network (Telemetry, Tracking and Control; for its acronym in English). Specifically, it is the TRN-1 ground station located in Torrejón. For this service, the company has awarded a contract for 1,929,291.16 euros, including taxes, to the company Nuevas Tecnologías Inalámbricas (NTI).
According to the specifications, the object of the contract is the update of all the tracking and pointing systems of the ViaSat model 3440 pedestal antenna, which has a diameter of 11.3 meters, three axes (Az, EL and Train), autotrack capacity, S-band transmission and S/X band reception.
